Accurate CNC Expands with Full Sheet Metal Fabrication Capabilities
Accurate CNC has been a trusted precision machine shop for years. Now we’re taking the next step by adding comprehensive sheet metal cutting and bending services to help you complete projects faster and more efficiently.
With a new 6' x 13' fiber laser and expanded forming capabilities, we can cut large sheets and tackle parts that have been tough to source locally. If you’ve been stuck with long lead times, inconsistent quality, or limited options for thicker steel in the Northwest, there’s finally a new option.
Equipment Built Around Customer Needs
When we decided to expand into sheet metal fabrication, we knew we weren’t going to simply dabble in small, simple sheet metal parts. Go big or go home, right?
Our customers needed thicker, longer parts, so we went all in with an Accurl 6' x 13' dual-table fiber laser with 6kW of cutting power. This machine is designed for production, enabling us to cut aluminum up to 3/8" thick and steel up to nearly 1".
That kind of capacity is rare in Northern Idaho. Most shops in our area stop at 10-foot brakes, which leaves you stuck if your design runs longer. With our 13-foot laser bed and a larger press brake on the way, we’ll now be able to handle 12-foot parts that have been nearly impossible to source locally.
Complementing our laser is the Langmuir Titan 25 press brake (affectionately named Preston). With 33" width capacity, 25 tons of force, and a CNC back gauge, Preston handles everything from prototypes to short-run bent assemblies. We bought this machine specifically so customers wouldn't have to wait weeks for simple bends.
With cutting, bending, and welding all under one roof, along with trusted vendors for all your finishing needs, Accurate CNC is growing into your one-stop manufacturing partner for all things metal. You send us your files and we deliver your completed assemblies. It's that simple.
"Accurate" Isn't Just Our Name
Around here, we like to say, "We're Accurate CNC, not Semi-Accurate CNC." It might sound like a silly line, but it sums up how we work. Too many shops send parts out the door with sharp edges, dimensions out of spec, or finishes that don't match the print. We've even seen customers forced to hire people just to deburr incoming parts. That’s a cost that should never fall on them.
That's not how we operate. When a drawing instructs us to "deburr and break all sharp edges," we do it. When tolerances need to be held, we hold them. And on the rare occasion that something slips through the cracks, we stop what we're doing, fix the part within a day, and deliver it ourselves if that's what it takes.
Our focus on quality extends through the entire process. We work with outside finishing vendors we trust to deliver consistent, durable finishes, so when your parts and assemblies arrive, they look every bit as good as they perform.
Built for Quick Turnaround
High-wattage fiber lasers may be new to us, but precision manufacturing isn’t. Decades of experience have taught us what quality looks like and how to deliver it consistently.
Yes, we can now cut thicker plates and take on complex projects. But our real sweet spot is the everyday work that keeps our customers running: standard sheet metal components that need to be cut, bent, welded, and finished. These bent assemblies are exactly what our new equipment is designed to handle, and we're set up to turn them around fast, without compromising quality.
We’re also building material inventory with quick turnarounds in mind. If you have parts you need on a regular basis, let us know. We’ll keep the right materials in stock, so urgent orders can be fulfilled in days, not weeks.
Put Us to the Test
Let us show you the quality of our sheet metal fabrication! Send us your CAD files, and we’ll cut a sample. For smaller parts, we may run it at no charge. For larger projects, we’ll quote a fair prototype price and roll what we learn into production.
