Full-Service Metal Finishing Solutions for Your Manufactured Parts

Our full-service precision machine shop offers multiple finishing solutions for metal parts. When we say “full-service,” we mean we’ll manage every aspect of your part’s manufacturing, from material ordering and precision machining to finishing, assembly, and delivery.

Should you need a finishing service we don’t perform in-house, we’ll enlist one of our approved finishing partners. You’ll never need to bother shipping your in-progress part from shop to shop to obtain individual services. We’ll oversee every step of your project, ensuring superior quality and a seamless experience!

In-House Finishing Services: Raw Metal Finishing

We provide several raw metal finishing services right here in our Idaho precision machine shop, conveniently located 35 miles east of Spokane. After deburring your part, we can perform any of these processes in-house:

  • As-machined finishing. Also called an “as-milled” finish, this refers to the tool marks left behind on the part’s surface after it’s been machined.

  • Vibratory finishing. Also called tumble finishing, this technique is commonly used for deburring parts. A part that undergoes this process emerges from the machine with a speckled-looking surface finish.

  • SuperBrush finishing: The SuperBrush is capable of creating several distinct surface finishes, including a hand-sanded look, light distressing on softer metals, and even a heavily weathered finish.

  • Bead blast finishing: Sometimes called sandblasting, this finishing process gives parts a clean and even matte finish. When applied to softer metals, bead blasting makes the resulting surface appear especially clean and smooth.

Outsourced Finishing Services: Coating, Plating, and Chemical Conversions

Our tested and trusted finishing partners enable us to offer many additional services, including:

  • Powder coating

  • Plating (zinc, nickel, cadmium, chromium, etc.)

  • Chemical conversions, such as anodizing (types II and III), Alodining, passivation, and black oxide

  • And more!

If your part’s surface will be visible after one of these finishing processes, we will ensure that the surface is cleaned of any stamp marks before sending the part to our preferred vendor.
