Router Services

Large Parts. Tight Tolerances. Smart Machining.

At Accurate CNC, our router services go far beyond the standard. We use industrial-grade CNC routers to cut aluminum, plastics, and composites with accuracy, efficiency, and care.

Whether you’re producing flat components, nesting high-volume parts, or need a clean machined finish on large panels, our CNC routing capabilities are built to deliver reliable results quickly and cost-effectively.

By combining high-speed routing with in-house milling and finishing, we give you access to full-service machining without the need to manage multiple suppliers.

What We Route (And Why It Works!)

We’ve refined our CNC routing approach over decades to give customers the best of both worlds: tight tolerances and fast turnaround.

Our router capabilities include:

Cutting flat parts from sheet and plate stock

Machining non-ferrous metals like aluminum and copper

Producing precision plastic parts from materials like UHMW and Delrin®

Creating fixtures, blanks, and templates used for downstream machining or assembly

Combining routing and milling when needed for complex jobs

Our routers feature large work areas (up to 5' x 20'), multiple vacuum zones, and repeatability as tight as 0.0001", giving us the flexibility to support a wide range of large-format and high-precision routing applications.

When Routing Is the Right Fit

CNC routing is ideal for:

  • Thin or thick flat parts that require clean profiles and minimal finishing

  • Plastic and aluminum components where edge quality and speed matter

  • High-volume production that benefits from nesting and batch processing

  • Oversized parts that are too large for traditional milling setups

  • Blanks or base parts that will be finished in another process

For many applications, routers are more efficient, deliver better edge quality than waterjet cutting, and offer greater value than full milling, especially when used strategically as part of a hybrid approach.

Smart Strategies to Reduce Cost and Lead Time

At Accurate CNC, we look for ways to save you time, money, and materials without sacrificing quality. We achieve this by automatically nesting parts to maximize yield and minimize scrap, as well as combining operations for greater efficiency, such as routing the periphery and then milling fine features. Additionally, we prep blanks for secondary machining, either by your team or by us, while offering expert design input and recommending changes that simplify setup or avoid non-standard tooling. Because we control both routing and milling in-house, we’re able to tailor the process to suit your priorities, and we don’t have to work within the limitations of a single machine.

Consistently Clean Results

Our router processes are built for precision and repeatability. That means:

  • Smooth edges that eliminate the need for deburring or rework

  • Tight tolerances for assemblies and fit-critical parts

  • Secure vacuum fixturing for sheet materials

  • Clean, professional results that reflect our commitment to quality

From first setup to final inspection, we focus on delivering the edge quality that your design demands.

A Collaborative Manufacturing Partner

Not sure if your part is better suited for routing, milling, or laser cutting? That’s where we come in. Our team is here to talk through your material, tolerancing, and design needs to help you land on the most effective solution. We’re happy to provide:

Guidance on process selection

Feedback on drawings and specs

Quotes for nested quantities or hybrid workflows

Honest input about what’s possible and what’s practical

When working with Accurate CNC, you gain a partner who understands how to make manufacturing smarter.

Let’s Talk Routing

If your parts are flat, oversized, or need fast, clean cutting, CNC routing could be the right fit. And if routing isn’t the right match, we’ll help you find the best process for your part. Either way, our team is ready to support your next project with practical advice and high-quality results.
