Supporting the Local Supply Chain: Delivery That Benefits Customers and Vendors

At Accurate CNC, supporting our customers also means supporting the vendors and partners who make up our local supply chain. When our freight service, Accurate Transport, launched in 2023, we quickly saw its impact through shorter lead times and fewer delays. But one sometimes overlooked benefit was smoother coordination across local manufacturing partners.

By keeping transportation in-house, we reduce friction throughout the supply chain. Faster turnaround, fewer handling costs, simplified logistics, and quality guarantees are delivered right to your door when you choose to use our transport services.

Here’s how Accurate Transport strengthens the local supply chain and creates real advantages for both customers and vendors.

What Are The Benefits of In-House Delivery?

In manufacturing, so many elements can cause delays. Material availability, vendor schedules, pickup windows, and handoffs between multiple carriers all add up. As a precision machine shop, we’re dedicated to eliminating as many of these variables as possible. And with Accurate Transport, we’ve been able to do just that.

By controlling transportation, we deliver:

Faster Turnaround

Lead times can quickly increase when working with multiple vendors. When you partner with our CNC machine shop, you get more than machining. Our full-service shop will manage your parts from material pickup to final delivery. By controlling transportation, we remove unnecessary wait times.

Cost Savings

By transporting materials on our own, we are able to reduce customer costs and eliminate potential pallet, pickup, and drop-off fees.

Facilitated Rush Orders

We control everything we can to meet the needs of our customers, even when tight turnarounds are required. We use our fleet of vehicles to pick up material, and because we operate our transport services four days per week without rigid route schedules, we can prioritize urgent pickups and deliveries.

Simplified Logistics

One point of contact makes a big difference. With Accurate Transport, customers and vendors don’t have to coordinate multiple carriers, pickup windows, or delivery schedules. We manage the logistics to support an easy manufacturing experience.

How is the Local Supply Chain Supported?

local supply chain

We are doing what we can to help customers on a local level. Our transport services are built around flexibility and priority-based scheduling, allowing us to pick up material each day we run and bring it right back to our shop. This approach minimizes downtime and keeps work flowing.

Many third-party transport companies and couriers pick up in the evening and then deliver the next morning. By handling transportation ourselves, we eliminate this downtime and keep projects moving without interruption.

As a result, many customers and vendors benefit from reduced lead times, even if they don’t know it.

Meeting Material Needs Without Delay

Recently, a rush order came in that required material we didn’t have on hand. Instead of waiting for outside pickup and delivery, our team went directly to the supplier and brought the material back immediately, allowing us to meet the customer’s timeline and avoid additional pallet and pickup fees that would have slowed the job and increased costs.

This kind of responsiveness is possible because our team understands the full scope of each project. One missing part can delay an entire assembly. But with Accurate Transport, we can act quickly to keep production in motion.

What is Accurate Transport Capable of Today?

Accurate Transport serves Northern Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Western Montana, regularly supporting customers and vendors within about 100 miles of our Idaho machine shop.

Since its start, our fleet has continued to grow. Currently, we have:

  • Two full-size pickup trucks

  • A 54” wide x 112” long x 45” tall transport van with a 3,300 lb capacity

  • A delivery flatbed offering 396” x 96” of transport space with a 17,000 lb capacity

With this extensive fleet, we can manage multiple deliveries simultaneously. For larger loads or longer distances, we’re happy to have a conversation to see how we can accommodate your needs.

More Than Just Delivery

And we don’t just do simple deliveries. We are equipped to help with transporting parts between shops, finishers, and local customers, including crates, pallets, aluminum, steel beams, and other building materials.

How Does Accurate CNC Deliver Faster Than Others?

Accurate Transport delivers parts quickly, carefully, and cost-effectively, giving customers and vendors a simpler, more reliable logistics solution. Many of our fabricators and partners already use our transport services, and we encourage others in the local supply chain to take advantage of them as well.

If you’re ready to partake in all of the benefits of our delivery services, reach out today. Whether you’re a customer or a vendor, we’re happy to answer any questions and continue supporting the local supply chain, one delivery at a time.
